Digital creator since 1985. 74 years old. Born in Bogotá, Colombia. My first name is Claudio.
For over 35 years, I have created digital art. A grandfather in the space, in many respects.
My first paintings with Pixels, 35 years ago, were done in 1985 using the new Macintosh computer, perhaps the first one to arrive in Colombia. Early in 2009, I started to work on an iPhone, and since then, created digital art daily to share online for free (Tumblr, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter). Once the iPad arrived, I held the world's first iPad exhibit using an iPad on the streets of Bogotá, in April of 2010.
I have created daily and shared over 5,155 digital works online - ARANGO DIARIO - that have expressed my emotions visually - a life diary of some sort for the last decade (around 15,000 hours of joyful craft).
I create for the love of art. Audiences from all over have appreciated, liked, reposted, followed and commented on my work, to my delight. My friends have given me so much happiness - my reward has been knowing that they experience visual pleasure through my creations.
I am interested in beauty and in offering it to everyone, everywhere, anytime. We all need beauty on a daily basis. Throughout the last decade, recurring themes have appeared: women, the Cosmos, reflections in water, flowers, animals, current affairs, and of course - light. Always light, I am a light painter - pixels are my canvas.
